Tumblr Thread: Recreating a Scooby Doo Inconsistency

Come to think of it, small mistakes like the continuously changing shape of a sign in a cartoon were always slightly annoying. Who'd think that some day literally thousands of people would devote their attention to these kind of subtle animation errors? Nobody pretends that cartoon logic always makes sense, but it is fun to point out.

Bob the animator: “Nah, leave it, but give the new one some wood texture, and make it smaller... oh, and change the lengths of the spikes. The kids won't notice."
